The Family Information Service have been re-developing Ealing’s SEND Local Offer and they're excited to announce that they are now in a position to offer usability testing of their new improved design to parents/carers.

‘Local Offer’ refers to all the services and provision available to children, young people and families living locally with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). The Local Offer website is a resource to help parents understand what is available and how to access services and support.

Through previous consultations parents/carers have given them feedback on the look, feel and functionality of the site. This is their response to this feedback and they would now like to invite as many parents to test the newly designed website.  The goal is to find out what works well and what can be improved upon before they finally make the site ‘live’.

Usability Testing and what to expect on the day

As well as trying out a few set tasks, parent/carers will get the opportunity to search the Local Offer for information of personal interest and share their views and experiences.

There are 2 days available for testing:

  • 20th June, 10 - 12 at Ealing Education Centre, Mansell Road, Greenford UB6 9EH
  • 21st June, 10 - 12 at Ealing Central Library, Ealing Broadway Centre, Ealing W5 5JY
