Carers Trust Thames

Carers Trust Thames has been going since 1980. Today the charity works in South Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Hillingdon, Hounslow and Ealing.

They are proud of their roots as a charity founded to support unpaid carers, relieving the stresses and strains that they experience by caring for their family, friends and neighbours to give them a break. They are part of the Carers Trust national network, the UK’s largest charity supporting carers.

They support adults and children of all ages, from 4 to 104, with a wide range of disabilities and health conditions. They offer a person-centred approach that is flexible to the needs of the client, promoting their independence and choice. Many of the services are free for the customer – funded by social care budgets, grants and contracts – however they also support people funding their own care.

From 3rd  April 2017 Carers Trust Thames will be responsible for the Ealing Carers Service based at Sycamore Lodge and Elm Lodge.
