Children's Disability Register

The Children's Disability Register is a list of Ealing children with disabilities or additional needs. It is for children 0-18 years who receive specialist services from Health, Education, Social Care or the Voluntary Sector. It is a legal requirement under the Children Act 1989 that local authorities keep a register. The disability register is to collect accurate information about the needs of children and young people in Ealing. This helps us to plan services for disabled children and young people and improve services for families in the future.

In Ealing we are signed up to the Every Disabled Children Matters Charter and the first requirement of this is to know the number of children with disabilities there are in Ealing. For more information visit

What are the benefits of joining the register?
