Community Paediatric Dietitian

The Community Paediatric Dietitian provides advice to families and children about the best way to get the right amount of nutrients to support the child's growth, development and learning.

The dietitian will advise on healthy diets and the use of specialised nutritional drinks and supplements. The dietitian will work closely with other professionals (family doctors, paediatricians, nurses, therapists) when considering a nutrition and dietary plan for a child.

The dietitian can also provide advice on nutrition and diet to women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
