Heathrow Gym trip Minimize

We are heading into March and there is a definite feeling of spring in the air at P.E.S.T.S. We had the first few play sessions with the weather warm enough to enjoy the wonderful garden at Heller House which always makes a big difference, particularly to those very active boys who are keen to run, climb and jump.

And talking about climbing and jumping, last Saturday we went on our second trip to the Heathrow Gym and had a fantastic time. Last year not everyone felt they had had enough time to play so this year we booked the playgym for longer and allocated less time to refreshments and it seemed to work well. It was particularly enjoyable to watch some of the parents have nearly as much fun as their children! Pictures often say more than words so I’ll attach some to this blog (or to be truthful: mail them to Nick and ask him to attach them!) and let the smiles do the talking.

The only downside to this trip is always that numbers are limited (by the venue regulations) and we have to disappoint some families. Hopefully they will be able to enjoy it next year!

Paola, our Dance and Movement Therapy Student, has started to see children individually at the sessions and is very much in demand. We are very grateful to her for donating her time and expertise to us and the children.

Wishing you all a very happy springtime!
